Job Overview:
Mr. Plumber is a full service Residential and Commercial Mechanical Contractor operating in Prince Albert and surrounding area for over 30 years. This family run company is currently looking for a Small Jobs Estimator to join its hard working team.

Responsibilities for Estimator:
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
• Estimate costs by looking at the entire project
• Present cost estimates to upper management
• Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
• Input cost data into company database
• Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost
• Look at customer requirements for a project
• Prepare proposals for customers
• Over the counter sales
• Manage stock and reorder as needed
• Gather first-hand information from sites, warehouses or other venues
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Perform risk analysis
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions etc.)
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs etc.)

Qualifications for Estimator:
• 2 years of experience working as an estimator
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to put together a professional presentation
• Ability to work well on a team
• Very detail oriented
• Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements
• Experience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must have a valid drivers license
